About a month ago I joined my first ever Crochet Along, which is basically an on-line group of crocheters working on the same project at the same time.
The Crochet Along I was a part of was hosted by Deramores yarn and the project was a Crochet Blanket, designed by the very talented Kat Goldin. The facebook page, where we would share our progress is called, The Deramores Cedar River CAL 2015. Feel free to look up the FaceBook page and see all the other beautiful blankets created by some amazing crocheters.
The stitch used was a corner to corner stitch, which I had never tried but learned quickly, thankfully with Kat Goldin’s expert and helpful online tutorials.
I love the stitch so much, I’m planning on making one more square for a crafty crochet idea I have, which I’ll share with you once completed, in the coming weeks.
Here are some pics of my completed blanket, which I proudly took with me to the beach today.
x-o,
Mona
