Next week is Halloween! Are you ready?
During the years, when my girl was a tiny tot, we would get into the fun of planning our costumes and dressing up. Now that she is a teen, the dressing up has gotten considerably less complicated for her and us, her parents.
But I still love this holiday and the dress up is half the fun. The other half, of course being the candy and baking of ghoulish cupcake, donut, and cookie treats.
This year, I decided to make myself, my husband and my daughter, our happy little trio, some quick crochet masks to match our Super Hero wanna-be egos, which are Wonder Woman for me, SuperGirl for my teen daughter, and the Incredible Hulk for my husband!
I’m thinking we can easily dress up plain t-shirts when we go to a community Fall festival or two. No-pressure Halloween cheer! I can’t wait to wear mine as I pass out treats to neighborhood princesses and goblins on the 31st. What fun!
The yarn I used for this project was Red Heart Super Saver yarn, which I really like for craft projects because it works up quick, it’s durable and it has a great price point. So let’s get crocheting!
