Always happens, without fail. Three days after Halloween I am tired of seeing those little leftover bars of chocolate at the bottom of the Halloween candy bowl. Me, a confirmed sweet-tooth, can’t even bear to think of eating another smooth, creamy, chocolaty morsel. And although I experience candy aversion right after the Halloween holiday, I never tire of cookies.
The leftover, once rejected chocolate candies, are re-made into some gobble worthy deliciousness.
Left Over Halloween Candy Cookies
(NOTE: These cookies come out more on the cakey side when straight out of the oven, but will crisp up nicely once they cool.)
Ingredients:
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of butter
3 eggs
2 1/2 cups of flour
1 tbsp vanilla
1 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of salt
2 cups of chocolate leftover candy, chopped
1 cup of chopped nuts
Bake It!
First, unwrap the candy and chop up. Set aside.
Cream sugar and butter
Add egg and vanilla, stir well
Add flour, baking soda and salt
Add candy and nuts, stir well
Incorporate wet and dry ingredients well.
Drop a tbsp of batter for each cookie onto parchment paper lined or non stick baking sheet.

Take out, cool, plate and eat!
Enjoy!
